Worst customer service from a Dr.'s office that I have ever witnessed..., Nov 17, 2011 On November 16th, 2011 I wanted to go to Dr. Salas to find out what was causing the pain in my neck and back. When I called the office to schedule an appointment, a woman named Mary Ann picked up. I asked where the address was and she rudely said that it was across the street from the hospital. I didn’t know where the hospital was, and wanted to get the address from her so I could GPS it. She wouldn’t give it to me for some reason. It didn’t bother me at first, but when I told her I would be there in 20 minutes to fill out paper work, she said whatever and hung up the phone on me. I thought it was extremely rude and that maybe I should just find a different doctor. I called back to try and talk to Dr. Salas about the issue, but Marry Ann would not get him for me or give me his email address. I told her I would not schedule an appointment with them if she was going to continue being rude and having poor customer service. Before I could even ask for Dr. Salas’ email address she hung up on me. I really wanted to talk to Dr. Salas and inform him of Mary Ann’s rude behavior, so I went into his office to speak with him. I asked to speak with a supervisor and it ended up being Mary Ann. I told her I was offended by how rude she was and that I would like to speak with Dr. Salas or to give me his email address. She said if I didn’t leave she would call the cops on me. I couldn’t believe it, all I wanted was an email address, but she thought she could call the cops on me so Dr. Salas wouldn’t find out, or receive a complaint about her. I never was rude or used foul language to instigate such a response from her. I guess she has never heard of the internet. I never had the chance to actually meet Dr. Michael Salas, so I can’t review on how he is as a doctor, but after I witnessed who he hired as a supervisor. I am inclined to think that he must not be that good if he can’t hire someone with good customer service. It all starts at the top with a business’

Cold and uncaring. MAJOR complications after surgery that would have been avoided if he actually res..., May 7, 2012 Cold and uncaring. He refused to listen when told there was excruciating pain. There was MAJOR complications from the surgery which resulted in going to emergency with Bile leaked into entire abdomen and 77 days were spent in the hospital, 3 weeks of which on a ventilator. Doctor would not even look the family or patient in the eyes after that. There is more but I think i made my point. |

Excellent Doctor, nice staff and now pain free!!!!!..., Feb 20, 2012 I have been suffering with arthritis and joint pain since l966, when I had a childhood accident and dislocated my hip. After two years of doctors "practicing medicine" and finally taking a simple xray which showed the dislocation, I had my hip joint hastily put back in place with pins. Long story short.....I lost two inches of growth in my right leg during the time of dislocation and had developed scoliosis and other fun joint diseases. Fast forward thirty five years....and years of deterioration, bad limp, pain and arthritic joint disease....I learned of Dr. Greg Montalbano and decided to finally have my hip replaced. It was by far the best decision I have ever made. Dr. Greg calmed my fears, answered all my questions, and after surgery, not only was I pain free....but as an added bonus...my legs were even and I no longer had a limp. It was like winning the lottery. Dr. Montalbano is a caring, wonderful surgeon who has hands of gold. If you are reading this and are contemplating having hip replacement....I would advise you to run (wishful thinking)...not walk and have this truly life changing experience.....To be painfree...ying and yang...is only something shared by other joint disease patients who understand the agony of bone on bone torture. Last year I needed my left hip replaced, and I again enlisted Dr. Montalbano's help. He has always been there to help whenever I called or had a question or concern, and his service and staff are the best I have ever encountered. He is like family now and has given me my life back. I am grateful to Dr. Greg for his kindness, professionalism and skills....and sing his praises wherever I go. Sincerely, Elaine B. |

LACK OF TRUST in REFERENCE TO DOCTOR MARK FALLICK...., Jan 9, 2012 I am over 60 years old and this Doctor has to the most ignorant person I have ever come in contact with. I had a procedure done by him and when I went for follow-up tests he claimed I still had a condition. I sought a 2nd and 3rd opinion and I was told the tests showed my condition no longer existed, so it is clear Dr. Fallick wanted to put me through additional pain just so he could bill me and my insurance company for extra money for a procedure that was not required, DOCTOR FALLICK that is FRAUD. BEWARE of this money hungry IGNORANT Doctor who in my opinion is a disgrace to the MEDICAL profession. |
