  Stay away. This is worst doctor I have ever experienced..., Jun 17, 2013

An appointment with Dr. Pouliot is like a living nightmare. First, if you are lucky enough to obtain an appointment, you will have to wait at least an hour and a half to be seen. The front desk is incompetent and rude. I was given another patient's appointment card. I wonder who got mine? The nurse took blood without gloves on!!!! Most recently I was denied my daily prescription until I could be seen by Dr. P. I made the appointment and did everything I was supposed to do before the script ran out. Dr. P's office CANCELLED my appointment and refused to refill my script until I was seen. When I called back to reschedule, I was told I wouldn't be able to be seen for over a month and a half. Meanwhile, I have been off my medication for a week now and still awaiting a phone call back from a nurse. When I stopped in and demanded to speak to a nurse, the front desk said that would be impossible since there was only one nurse on duty...um, isn't one all it takes?

Great doctor who took time to review chart and discuss issues. Highly recommend her. She actually took me off a great deal of medication and I feel so much better under her care. I have now told 4 more people who have now switched to her.

Regarding our appointment this morning of May 14, 2013. Upon arriving my 94 year old mother was anxious to to avail herself to the services of Dr. Kligman for chronic neck pain. I had been referred to Dr. Kligman by my personal physician. Upon presenting my mothers insurance card we were informed that it would not be excepted as Dr. Kligman was not listed as the primary care physician. I was disappointed to say the least when i was informed of this, as it was never explained to me when the appointment for a new patient was made that Dr. Kligman would have to be elected as her primary care physician in order for her insurance card to be accepted and to be seen by the Dr. I told the receptionist behind the desk that Healthnet would absolutely pay as I occasionally bring my mother to other primary care physicians that are not listed on her insurance card with out issues from the insurance company (healthnet). No avenue of resolution was offered by the receptionist, and in my opinion I was treated very rudely and was also told that my attitude was not appreciated, at which time I told her I also did not appreciate her shortness with me either, to which she exclaimed that I came into the office with that attitude, which is NOT the case. I became agitated because after waiting 4 months for this appointment I felt that it was neglgent on their part that we were never informed that in order to be seen we would need to elect Dr. Kligman as our primary care physician prior to our appointment. I believe this was an oversight in their policy and not a fault of the patient. I asked her to call the insurance company to verify that there would be no problem and was rebuffed, at which time I thought it best that I call the insurance company so their office would be assured of payment. Why Tuvi, Why? Why did you not make a correct diagnosis? You could plainly see what was going on. If you had, SO much pain, so many problems, issues, etc could have been avoided. Why didn't you listen to me, when I pleaded with you? Why Tuvi, why? I wasn't in pain before, now I suffer constantly and have to endure endless pain. Why Tuvi, WHY?

Unbelievable find. In this day and age its amazing that a doctor like this one exists - one who actually spends TIME with you. I came away feeling like he actually cared about me and not that I was just one of thousands of patients he sees. He made the visit a pleasant experience... and I'm one of those people who hates to go the doctor. With Dr. Don, I can't wait to go back. He's fun just to shoot the breeze with, and even better is the fact that you come away confident that he knows what he's doing. And the staff is great. A fantastic doc. Highly recommended.
