Not Recommend, quite inexperienced, and bad outcome..., May 27, 2012

I'm one of those people who always looked at very negative reviews of doctors on the online review sites and cringed. I always questioned their credibility somewhat. After all, what if the person was just having a bad day, or they're a negative, cynical person. But here I am, writing a review and I consider it important. I consider it accurate, and I hope other people read it. Dr. Michael Tsappis is a child psychiatrist. I saw him as a young adult ; That might be worth considering - I don't know. I agree with the few other reviews of Dr. Tsappis you can find online. He is not condescending (a good thing), and bedside manner is not like a typical psychiatrist's. I was looking for someone who wasn't like a typical psychiatrist, and Dr. Tsappis treated me differently than other psychiatrists. He engaged me in conversation, often not even about anything clinical or psychiatric. He did not make a diagnosis early on. He didn't push drugs. In fact, he didn't push anything, including a diagnosis, ever! When I pushed him to tell me the diagnosis, his answer was vague. And it would change, a lot. My diagnosis would change practically every time I asked him. That's not refreshing. That's disturbing. And with no reservation, I would add it is incompetent. Now, finally, I have a firm diagnosis. About 8 doctors agree on the diagnosis. In fact, no one who I have seen since leaving Dr. Tsappis disagrees with it. It's actually a simple disorder - everyone has heard of it. But I would never write a review just because a doctor misdiagnosed me, although I'm not happy about it. I had two other ongoing health issues while seeing doctor Tsappis. I was diagnosed with cancer (in my twenties), suffered some minor seizures, and developed a heart problem. Dr. Tsappis made it DIFFICULT to work with insurance, even in light of these. Honestly, I kid you not. Please stay away. He quite deceitfully, and illegally (it is now on record legally, finally) failed to fill out any insuran

LONG WAITS, NO HELP, HORRIBLE CARE!! RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!..., May 7, 2013

Dr. Behm diagnoses and prescribed hip replacement for me. It did not work out well. See below...., Feb 3, 2013

Dr. Behm recommended and installed a metal-on-metal replacement hip called Birmingham Hip Resurfacing. Early on, it was abundantly clear that the hip was infected. However, Dr. Behm performed two more surgeries before acknowledging infection as a root cause. This delay, in our opinion, allowed the infection to incubate to a dangerous stage. Finally, we 'fired' Dr. Behm and had the hip revised by another surgeon who correctly diagnosed the infection and three more surgeries later, I was stable. In conclusion, I would not recommend Dr. Behm for any procedure.
Unprofessional, Rough, Too Busy and Unknowledgable..., Jan 31, 2013

Dr. Davis-Best needs to work on her customer service skills. She has no bedside manners and is rough actually when she does exams. Most of the staff seem to learn how to treat patients from her as well. Basically, if you want an OBGYN that is caring, that listens, that is knowledgable(Dr.Best openly admits to not knowing how to use the computer your files and notes are kept on), and gentle, do not go here.
The Best Plastic Surgeon in Houston, TX Thank you so MUCH!!!!..., Jan 11, 2013

Thank You for so much of your time and care. . I am a thirty seven year old, professional woman and I feared of looking like a clown. Your reassurance and surgical touch made it worth it. You picked the excellent size and shape for my body structure, THANK YOU! You also got rid of that “12 year old” look I had. My breasts have never looked more natural, healthy and just down right pretty. You can’t imagine what that has done for my self-esteem. Thank you for being a wonderful surgeon and changing my life!
avoid at all costs, don't make the same mistake, i left in tears and irate..., Dec 13, 2012

I would not suggest doctor Joseph Hooper to anybody. I have never taken the time to write a review on a product or services of any kind before, but he will treat you with such disdain that I hope that no one ever has to suffer his treatment. He has only his experiences to base his life "opinions" on and if you are not someone with simple problems he has dealt with before, then you are wrong in his eyes and he will make a point to tell you. If you try and discuss your issues with him, he will tell you that you are just seeking special attention, that you are faking and he will talk down to you as if you were his child. If you try and make any retorts to his insults, he will then proceed to mumble insults under his breath right in front of you as if you are too stupid to know what he is doing. If you want to leave your doctor in tears or livid with anger, then by all means, go to him, but if you wanted to be treated with respect from your "care giver", then save yourself the grief and time and seek a different doctor. He told me that my psychiatric symptoms weren't real and upon realizing that I did need proper help, he very abrasively asked if I was going to kill myself and then told me I could find another doctor. That being said, I was always able to get either same day or next day appointments anytime I called and I can only assume, after reading similar reviews, that he just doesn't hold on to any of his patients and therefore his schedule is always open.
