DON"T BE ANOTHER VICTIM OF THIS UNINSURED DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!..., May 15, 2012

This doctor seems ok....but dont be fooled! regular office visits seem fine, but whatever you do, DO NOT allow her to deliver your baby! Horrific doctor...WHO IS NOT INSURED to cover mistakes made by her!
Great attention! She is very kind and her staff too..., Apr 7, 2012

I was refered by a friend. I got lost and i was late, i called them and they told me how to get there very nicely. I didnt wait that much in the waiting room. Her staff is very helpfull and professional. When she entered the room she quickly ask me what i had and review it. She called another doctor to have a second agree for what she thought i had. I got dizzy she quickly lay me over and gave me a candy. I dont know what i have in my neck, they need to have the test answers. She is great! i recomend her to all of you!! :)
3 months 4 appt.- brought actual MRI, but not enough..., Feb 23, 2012

After waiting for over 3 months for my appointment, I arrived carrying all the necessary MRI's (which all my other doctor's said was the preferred method, so they could see & interpret on their own,) she refused to even talk with me until I could present the 'doctor's notes' that went with the MRI's. She was very unpleasant, but 'offered' me the opportunity to 're-schedule' - Not necessary. I didn't want to return to someone who apparently did not trust herself enough to read the MRI's with out seeing what a different doctor had interpreted before her. Not recommended - Not even nice!
Horrible experience! The doc's office seems to prey on unsuspecting old patients......, Jan 9, 2012

Horrible experience! The doc's office seems to prey on unsuspecting old patients who get referred to him by their primary care physicians. I am 73 years old and my visit which is covered by Medicare and Medical ended up being billed for $225!!! for a half an hour visit. Well, the eye pressure was checked. The insurance didn't pay for $134.90 out of this amount. The office failed to warn that they don't take Medical and about the deductible on Medicare. When asked, I was assured that the visit will be covered. Anyway - now they threaten to turn the whole thing to the collections. Shameless! I live on a limited income of about $600 a month and can't afford to pay that much for a visit. The attempts to negotiate the bill have always ended up with the inability of his office to get the right info about the Medical. But this is not all. During the visit the doc kept pushing his glasses and contacts and was very irritated when we politely rejected the offers. Very awkward. It feels like they are trying to survive at the cost of the most vulnerable. I would never go there again.
terrible experience with Dr. Aukerman in Columbus, OH..., Dec 23, 2011

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Aukerman. My regular MD was not available so I was placed with him. When he entered I explained I slipped on my stairs at home and injured my back. I saw a body worker Wed who massaged and realigned me but suggested I see an MD as well. He asked what my body worker said I should have, all while being very dismissive. He never examined me, never directly faced me, and kept saying he would do this or that because my body worker wanted it, which I found demeaning. He refused to give me pain meds because he said there was no record of me getting them in their system, despite the fact that I've gone to that practice for over 10 years and have gotten pain meds there before. He was brusque, dismissive, and indifferent, and I will never see him again. I refused to pay for the visit even. He actually made me cry he was so harsh, which was offensive considering the pain I am in.
