My first experience with plastic surgery was great thanks to Dr. Salibian..., Sep 25, 2010 I have always been somewhat conscious of my weak chin and finally decided to try correcting the situation. A friend recommended me to Dr. Salibian in West Hollywood. Having never had any type of plastic surgery and not considering myself a candidate for this type of thing, I was hesitant at first, but my nervousness ended after sitting down with Dr. Salibian in my initial consultation. He listened carefully, explained in plain language what he would recommend, and showed me chin implant options that would provide the best results. The same day, as promised, I received a very competitive price quote for his services and, after some research of my own, made a decision for the surgical procedure. On the Friday morning of the chin implant, I was nervous about the outcome and the healing process, but those worries were put to rest after the operation. As testimony to Dr. Salibian’s capabilities as a surgeon, I had almost no visible swelling and no pain. I was given a prescription for Vicodin, but needed only half of one pill in the afternoon and the other half before bedtime on surgery day. Recovery was fast and I was back at work on Monday morning. Adding to my sense of confidence in Dr. Salibian’s practice, the pre- and post-operative patient care by Dr. Salibian’s office personnel and his surgical center were excellent. Today, one week after the surgery, I have already had people tell me I look great and appear younger for some reason. Nobody knows I had the implant and I’m not going to broadcast it either, but I really appreciate the compliments and feel more confident about myself. Dr. Salibian’s subtle, natural and face-enhancing chin recommendation has made people notice me, not the implant, and that’s the best part of all.

Uncaring and neglectful doctor. Extremely disappointed..., Feb 28, 2013 I started going to Dr. Dunn 2 years ago when I found out I was pregnant. I had already had a miscarriage and ended up losing the next baby at 20 weeks due to Trisomy 13. I then had another miscarriage the next year. At this point I was 35 years old. After losing 3 babies, she just sent me on my merry way and told us to keep trying. I have not been able to conceive since that last miscarriage. Finally, this past January my husband and I decided on our own to seek further testing and possible treatment. It's a good thing we did because we just found out that I have a very low egg count, and I am premenopausal. I feel like Dr. Dunn should have suggested further testing after the last miscarriage a year ago, if not before that. From what I have heard from other people who have had to go to a fertility clinic, they're doctors referred them after a year or less of having problems conceiving or carrying (most of them are even younger than me). It seemed as if Dr. Dunn could care less whether we could or couldn't have a child. I do not recommend her at all. |

Dr Conlin practices billing fraud for services not rendered..., Dec 21, 2012 Went to Dr Conlin for a physical only and I was billed for physical and a separate office visit. All he did was ask me about pre-existing conditions (from form I had to fill out when I arrived) and then he starts billing me as if he is treating me for those conditions, even though I told him I am seeing another specialist for those pre-existing conditions. This is billing fraud. Dr Conlin also tried to prescribe cholesterol medication even though my cholesterol levels were very good, and he became extremely rude when I questioned the need for that. |

Awful experience. Dr. suggested disability but refused to complete disability paperwork...., Dec 3, 2012 This Dr suggested I consider going on disabililty on 2 separate occassions. When I agreed, I obtained necessary paperwork and she absolutely refused to complete 1 and a half pages of paperwork and sign it. This paperwork was for my disability insurance from my employer. I followed every single instruction she gave me. She terminated me as a patient. This sent me over the edge and I ended up in a psyche treatement center with suicide attempt. Avoid this "doctor" at all costs. |
