Dr Mayfield is Highly Reccomended he made me feel!..., Jun 11, 2013

Dr Mayfield, took the time to explain everything with us never rushed us. And gave me his personal and professional opinion. I truly thank him for all he has done. This is truly a great Dr that I would highly recommend. He made me feel like a part of his family and not just a patient.!
unsatisfied and in shock that he graduated from med school..., Apr 23, 2013

I waited 30 mins to be seen only after being greeted by the most unorganized and unfriendly staff I have ever seen. The doctor rushed through the appointment and clearly believed he should be doing something else with his time. I was also misdiagnosed and given a prescription for the wrong medication. This man shouldn't be practicing medicine.
Downhill fast since changes to office and move ..., Mar 7, 2013

Something has happened since he joined NYU. No one answers the phones, have to call for weeks just to get a response, long wait with doc spending no time with you. This is not the level of care or service people expect from a doctor.
DO NOT GO! Read reviews on line. He is the worst!..., Mar 3, 2013

Do not go to this doctor. You will be disappointed. He was the absolute worst! He makes mistakes that cause human suffering and then he cannot even admit that he has made a mistake. Read the reviews on line. They all say the same thing!
Unfortunately, I can't recommend her. Lacks privacy sensitivity!..., Feb 6, 2013

I saw this doctor once. Her office is very small which would be fine, except while I was there in the waiting room, I could hear everything she was saying during her phone conversation with the insurance company or someone like that. This included the patient's i.d. number, medical problems, lab report results, etc. I couldn't believe it! Doesn't this violate HIPPA laws?? She was using a phone in the front reception area but could prevent this by having a phone in back part of office. Toward the end of our appt., I told her I was concerned about her making calls from phone in front, and I could hear everything she was discussing about a patient. Instead of taking responsibility for the situation, she blamed it on her office, other patients, and then me. She said that that unfortunately she has a small office; that sometimes the reception door gets left open when patients walk in; and that most patients aren't listening for something like that. LOL, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! She may be a good doctor regarding a broken bones and such (I don't know), but she is clueless about protecting patient privacy! No thanks!
