unprofessional and irratic orthopedics - unethical doctor..., Jun 25, 2010

I was in to be seen by Dr. Paul H. Marks, an orthopedist. We, church pastors, are on time, and prepared to see the doctor immediately. I and my wife were first (9am and 9:30am) to be seen by the doctor because we were rear-ended in an auto accident. As we walked into the clinic, he told the receptionist to jump "his patients" ahead of the insurance patients (us). We waited for more than one and a half hours, and saw too many people jumping the line. I had enough of this b.s. So I confronted the receptionist, but this doctor jumped and yells at me to "leave" and that "I don't care." Later, he wrote a report that says: "he was initially quite belligerent. This is because they were waiting some 25 or 30 minutes." I happen to keep the copy of my parking receipt for insurance claim. And the parking receipt says 2 and a half hours (had to pay $16). Dr. Marks is a terrible doctor whose examination was just a joke, and liar who brings in his professional lying into his practice. Stay away from this guy!

does not listen to you. you will be better off going somewhere else...., Jan 20, 2012

Reception is extremely mean and act like its the end of the world if you ask them to do anything. The dr. doesnt listen to you when you tell him anything. He puts his head down and seems like he is somewhere else but in the rooaskm with you. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Doesnt take the time to listen to your ailements, reception is extremely mean and seems like they do not want to be there, or help you at all. I would rather be in pain, then deal with reception. Go somewhere else. You will be better off somewhere else

Don't trust anything the staff says and find everything out for yourself..., Nov 22, 2011

Dr Simpson gave my husband options for what could be the problem. He recommended getting an echocardiogram as a precaution if insurance would cover it. My husband then said we only wanted it done if insurance covered it. The man who checked us out said that they would contact us if we would be charged, and if we were not contacted then we would be good to go. Because of this, we signed the consent form there and at the imaging center because we were never told we would owe a dime, so we thought we were good to go and not have to pay anything. A week later, we are billed $2000. Someone put in the notations we were told about the amount, so that was not true, and since they have our signature legally we had to pay. We could have contacted our insurance, but he said they would take care of it since it was less then 24 hours before our next appointment. They were not willing to fess up to their mistake, and treated us poorly after that. So because of them not be willing to step up to the plate and take the blame for their lack of communication, we have to pay in order for it not to hurt our credit. Be aware if you go this doctor to not trust a single thing they say. Check everything out for yourself before you sign anything. They also slip something in to the stack of papers you fill out at first to cover themselves, and apparently you don't have to sign it even though they say when they hand it to you to fill everything out and hand it back in. They say they followed their procedure exactly, and maybe they did...but we were told something different then their policy and since we don't work there, and that had been our first time there, we did not know their policy, and decided to trust what they said. Don't do it. The doctor seemed intelligent and caring, just do not believe what Travis or Becky say. Even when my husband called Dr Simpson's assistant to see if they could explain anything, she called back and rudely said "I don't know who you are or what you want..." So
Wonderful Doctor...Very much worth the 300 mile drive..., Sep 2, 2011

Dr Torchinski has been a blessing to my family since the beginning of the diabetic issues with my daughter. Not only are he and his staff knowledgeable but they actually care aswell. Language may be slightly challenged but this is definitely worth it considering his talent.
Dr. Taylor has poor bedside manner. She was very rude toward me...., Aug 30, 2011

I visit the Dr. once or twice a year and on more than one occasion, Dr. Taylor was rude, dismissive and uncaring toward me. I over looked her rudeness the first time, because everybody has bad days. But after the second time, I have decided to look for another Dr.
