  ARROGANT & TERRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER ..., Mar 22, 2012

Hospital and hospital staff was amazing. UNFORTUENATELY, Dr. Mosbah Chehab was the assigned physician when I was hospitalized and he was incredibly arrogant and rude. He insulted my intelligence on several levels, without getting into details, and after I filed a formal complaint and requested a different doctor he refused to transfer my case and threatened to discharge me instead. After administration was involved his demeanor changed and he denied all allegations and threats he made (nurses did witness EVERYTHING) furthermore, he snuck back in my hospital room and stated that he could do whatever he wanted and discharge me (I was just admitted with pneumonia less than 4 hours before) and call security if he felt like it. I proceeded to tell him to leave the room and only speak to me with another staff member present, he then stormed off, go t another staff member and again changed his demeanor and stated that because I was upset he would transfer my case to another doctor. This was what I was asking for the entire time and what he was refusing to do. It took about 2-3 hours of requesting and involving management and administration to have the issue resolved.
Southwest Medical Center Should Be Avoided At All Costs...., Mar 17, 2012

Dr Bergfeld is a good doctor, but the staff of Southwest Medical Center are some of the most discourteous, inefficient and vile folks you'll ever deal with and this is not my unique experience. They don't answer the phones and when they do, they either disconnect you, connect you to the wrong doctor, or just totally unprofessional. If your time and happiness are important to you, this is not the place to choose.
Dr Dan Sicking - Internal medicine and primary care..., Mar 6, 2012

Dr. Sicking is very laid back, understanding, spends time with you and never rushes. He is thorough and doesn't miss a thing. He has been my primary care physician for over 3 years and I can't say enough good things about him. His staff is always very nice and understands if you might be a little irritable or short with them, due to illness or injury. They are terrific. They do not OVER schedule, so you can almost always get in, the very day you call or the next day. Besides being a brilliant physician, he never talks down to you or treats you like you're a 2nd grader and that is appreciated immensely by me. He is one of the few physicians I have ever had, that explains things to you, the way it should be done. Having several serious medical issues, finding Dr. Sicking, was a godsend. I hate to think I may have to move 80 miles away, in a year or so, due to my job, but you can be sure, I'll make the trip, when needed, as I have no intention of changing doctors. He'd have to retire to get rid of me! :)
My family Refuses To See Her Again. Very Disagreeable!..., Jan 5, 2012

My family will not be seeing Dr. Shah again. If we had not researched her credentials after the fact, we would have sworn she was not even a doctor. She argued with us over refills for medicines that we take for diabetes and thyroid disease though we have taken these medicines to treat these illnesses for several years. She was very disagreeable about everything. It was so hard to deal with her that one of us just agreed with her about everything to keep from having arguments again so as to be able to leave her office promptly because the entire visit had been such an ordeal. We do not recommend her.
Zafar Naqvi- Avoid at all cost! M.D. is inexperienced and unhelpful..., Dec 16, 2011

No information and no experience. Has made at least two mistakes for all 4 clients I work with. Unfortunatly this M.D. does not bring anything to the table. Good practice at UMass. Bad apple with Zafar Naqvi. Beware! Many mistakes
