I would not recommend her to a friend. Get a second opinion..., Apr 7, 2013|
I would not recommend her to a friend. She over-diagnoses and over-treats. Make sure you get a second opinion to be certain of the diagnosis before you commit to treatment. Thank you very much and that is all I am going to say...
AMAZING, considerate, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, 10 out of 10!!..., Mar 22, 2013|
I went to Dr. F for my 2nd baby. He was so caring and considerate. He did not make me feel bad asking questions and did not act like he expected me to know everything. He helped me get out of a bad situation to focus on my growing baby. Dr. Fellenbaum noticed that my son was getting big by ultrasound and started monitoring me more closely. I started dilating early, but never went in to labor on my own as I did with my first. When I was dilated to 4 for a week we opted to induce. The hospital was understaffed when I arrived for my induction, and he made sure that the hospital knew it was unacceptable to leave his patients laboring while unsupervised. He did a great job on my son's circumcision and got us home as soon as possible (26 hours after delivery to be exact!), which I was very thankful for! He is a wonderful and extremely knowledgeable doctor!!!
Good staff, horrible "doctor" - Wallet stuffer versus actual clinician ..., Feb 10, 2013|
In a few words?
- Horrible bed side manner; dodged questions and threatened to quit when we inquired about alternative treatment methods. This dude is older than the internet as we know it and he was throwing hissy-fits like a rabid Bieber-fan.
- Extremely pessimistic. Every conversation boiled down to DEATH. Look, I get that cancer is no walk in the park, but rubbing our faces in it is counterproductive and honestly, believe it or not, does more harm than good. After the nth time of being told "HE IS GOING TO DIE," we stopped talking to him about and kept his patient visits short.
- Biggest gripe? Cancer research is a constantly developing field and new, novel discoveries are made often enough that you might spot it in the newspaper or online. It should have been a huge red flag when this so-called M.D. was absolutely clueless about significant changes in our understanding of how cancer works.
Final remarks? He gave up on our father when we walked through the door the first time. Had we known of his lazy, outdated way of treatment, we would have walked right back out of that room without hesitation.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend her. Lacks privacy sensitivity!..., Feb 6, 2013|
I saw this doctor once. Her office is very small which would be fine, except while I was there in the waiting room, I could hear everything she was saying during her phone conversation with the insurance company or someone like that. This included the patient's i.d. number, medical problems, lab report results, etc. I couldn't believe it! Doesn't this violate HIPPA laws?? She was using a phone in the front reception area but could prevent this by having a phone in back part of office. Toward the end of our appt., I told her I was concerned about her making calls from phone in front, and I could hear everything she was discussing about a patient. Instead of taking responsibility for the situation, she blamed it on her office, other patients, and then me. She said that that unfortunately she has a small office; that sometimes the reception door gets left open when patients walk in; and that most patients aren't listening for something like that. LOL, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! She may be a good doctor regarding a broken bones and such (I don't know), but she is clueless about protecting patient privacy! No thanks!
This doctor is not tworthy of my trust and too expensive..., Dec 5, 2012|
I went for a consultation about chin liposuction. At age 60, I knew alot more about dermatological and cosmetic procedures than the 20 yr old consulting with me. The price quote was extremely expensive. I asked the doctor to get in touch with me, but I heard nothing. Therefore, I would never trust this doctor, no matter what the ratings show.
