I had to see Dr. Silva because of a miscarriage. He is a doctor..., Jan 14, 2010

I had to see Dr. Silva because of a miscarriage. He is a doctor at my local Military Treatment Facility, so I had to be referred to him. I usually have a female doctor, so I was a little concerned about going to a male. However, Dr. Silva was great! He was very professional and was understanding in my time of grief. He answered all of the questions and concerns that I had. He got me over my fear of a male ob/gyn. I would definitely recommend him to a friend.

Narcissistic doctor won't release patients to see other doctors..., Jan 7, 2012

Reviews of the practice showed that another doctor there had a higher rating, so I wanted to see this other doctor. I was flat out told NO, I am not allowed to see any other doctor at the practice than Karen Bader because that was the first doctor I ever saw in the practice.
Wonderful Doctor would recommend to anyone needing surgery..., Nov 16, 2011

Dr. Blazek was the most courteous and professional doctor I have ever come in contact with. I felt very comfortable with him and my surgery went wonderful. Would recommend him to anyone needing general surgery.
Scott Yegel had a wait time of 50 minutes Unacceptable!..., Oct 17, 2011

. I am most disappointed in the wait time. I waited over 50 minutes to be seen by the doctor. 50 minutes just to have him walk into my room!! I never received any feedback as to the wait and when I addressed the issue to the doctor he merely stated I'm sorry. If the wait time was going to be long, I would appreciate if the doctor/ receptionist asked me if I cared to reschedule, who said I didn't have something else to do? My time is just as valuable as any person, so when I schedule an appointment I expect to be seen at least within 15 minutes. After all, the receptionist is the one looking at the calendar to ensure I am placed in to a time that is compatible with the doctor's schedule. If I arrive late or do not call, I am billed anywhere from $50.00 to $200.00 depending on the incident. If the doctor arrives late, I get nothing except sorry and all my other appointments being thrown off at that time. Why is it OK for the doctor to be late but not the patient? If you have too many people scheduled or you can't wrap up an appointment in a timely manner, maybe you should try placing greater distance between the next patient, to allot for the overtime (which by the way I'm not getting paid for) in which the patient will be occurring. So many times people say this is the norm, this is not acceptable! If you arrive late at the doctor's office you are billed or asked to rescheduled, if you arrive late for an interview you will not get the job, if you arrive late at your job you will be fired. Why is it OK for a doctor in a doctor's office to be late for his/her patients? I had an appointment; I even brought in my paperwork already filled out. I didn't just walk in. I rescheduled an appointment for another doctor while waiting for the doctor to come in, upon him coming In, I left. He or she will no longer be privy to my money when I have to wait excessively.
Great heart doctor. When you consult him you feel you are talking with a friend. Highly recommended..., Sep 25, 2011

I first met Dr. Assad-Kottner in August of 2011. As soon as he entered the room I noticed something different. He was smiling, and genuinely seemed interested. He sat down, spoke with me without interrupting me like other doctors do so usually. He reviewed all of my medications and instead of adding more or increasing dosages he had a talk with me. He motivated me enough in order for me to try again what they always tell me "exercise eat healthier." So far in 2 months I have lost 6 lbs and will continue to do so. When you consult him it does not feel you are with a doctor, it feels you are speaking with a true friend which in my opinion is key.
Good at what he does! Spent time with me and family explaining things..., Aug 18, 2011

Did a good job-a little late but made up for it with time he spent with me and family. Saw him several times and believe he helped me and I would recommend him to a friend or family member. Office is very nice.
