Failure to perform as agreed or to disclose pertinent information...., Apr 14, 2012 Dr. Calabria misled me as to the fact that he had never been sued by a patient (I have his e-mails to prove it). Had I known he had been successfully sued and was currently on probation, by the medical board, I would never have allowed him to operate on me. By Calabria’s own estimate, and that of other plastic surgeons, the procedures he was to perform on me: vertical face-lift, neck-lift, endoscopic forehead lift, lower eye-lid correction (blepharoplasty) and fat injections (volume restoration) to various places on my face; that I paid $41,000 for should have taken 8 to 9 hours to perform. He spent less than 5 hours on my procedures. Two of the procedures got infected. My left lower eyelid, seen to by Dr. Applebaum , and the right cut in my skull. The endosocopic cut had opened to such a degree that Calabria was to re-stitch it. He did not.” Rather than the “Vertical Facelift” I paid for he performed the One-Stitch procedure instead and left me with the scars to prove it. He also caused a lump on my cheek. He promised to eliminate this lump; he did not. My lower Eye-lids were to be done from the inside; he cut on the outside and stitched in my eyelids resulting in a chronic case of blepharitis.

he has no time for post op care and will kick you to the curb..., Apr 12, 2013 his surgery on my wife got infected resulting in 4 days in the hospital, a week after she got out he said it was scar tissue, a week after that she called to say it still hurt, he said somethings not right a to see him in 6 days, i called to complain that 6 days is too long maybe we should go to the hospital, his office called back stating we would recieve a certified letter stating he would not provide her any more care and to find a new doctor, THEY THREW US TO THE CURB, he cut her, it got infected, so too bad find another doctor |

Dr Shimkus is a gem, a highly recommended oncologist..., Mar 17, 2013 Dr Shimkus treated my wife's glioblastoma, working with doctors at MD Anderson. He is the most accessible and compassionate doctor I have ever had the experience of knowing. For instance, he has his cell number on his business card and responds to calls or text messages on weekends and evenings! |

Go to weight watchers instead don't waste your money here..., Mar 2, 2013 Waited over 45 minutes and only saw the Dr. for 3 minutes. He advised me to try using meal replacement shakes. I could have gotten the same advice from a weight watchers commercial and it wouldn't have cost me $300. I complained to Fairview and a nurse called me, she was very nice, but apparently Dr. Billington was too busy to help me. A month later I got a bill for $300 (this is after my insurance payment). Apparently Dr. Billington lives up to his name, I hope he enjoys his yacht while I lose my house. |
