Money More Important Than Patient Care To Dr Chadha..., Jan 10, 2012

When I went to make an appointment, I was told that I was expected to pay between $200-$300 UP FRONT to see him because I do not have health insurance. When I explained that the number was completely asinine and I could not afford to pay that amount, the receptionist spoke down to me explaining that he "is a specialist and there are set value amounts for these things" that it "has to do with codes and other confusing things" that I just "didn't understand." This angered me, as I am currently waiting to sit for my RHIT accreditation through AHIMA, meaning that I DO understand and know how to code and bill for doctor's offices. Once I explained to her that I had never coded a chart for an office visit where a patient was required to pay $200 up front due to lack of insurance, she became annoyed and suggested I go elsewhere. I would NOT suggest Dr. Chadha or any of his associates at O'Reilly Medical Consultants because apparently money is more important to them than patient care.

A friendly doctor who makes too many mistakes and then covers them over...., Dec 16, 2011

My husband and I both went to Dr. Hoing for about two years. She is very easy to talk with but makes too many mistakes. She has me on a medicine 20mg more than the doctor recommended dose. She also has not filled out paperwork for my care in over a month. She has made numerous mistakes with my husband as well. She has placed undo stress on our family and she in my opinion is not living up to her Hippocratic Oath: "I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick." We will no longer see her and we advise everyone to be careful who do seek her professional care.

He had only one interest, flirting with the nurse. I did not want to hear how pretty her eyes are, and how beautiful she is. They talked like I was not even in the room. I felt like I was invisiable. Very unprofessional, steer clear of this creep.

This is a medial doctor, not a dentist, but getting from the waiting room to the exam room is like pulling teeth. Plan to wait at least an hour. Two-hour waits are not unusual. Once you're in the exam room (another wait) and she finally graces you with her presence, you'll be out in a jiffy. No protracted exam, or time for questions. She'll write your prescription and send you on your way. Need a prescription refilled, or need a return call? You'll be waiting again. "Timely" is not in her vocabulary. Want a doctor who cares enough to listen and respond, and who respects your time? This is not the doctor for you.

I have only awesome things to say about Dr Elderkin. My mom, sister and I all go to her and we look forward to each visit. I had a very rough pregnancy with a lot of sickness and she and her nurse were so loving and understanding and would even make calls back to me after hours. I have seen other Drs and none have come close to being as awesome as her. She delivered my son and made it all work out so she would be there to deliver him. He was my first and it made me feel so good that she made time out to me there. Very few Drs like this left in the world. She is one and a million. I wish she was a pediatrician too. :)

My experience with Dr. Elderkin has been nothing but positive. In fact, when I had my first visit with her, I was so glad that my random selection of doctors from this practice had proven successful. What has impressed me most about Dr. Elderkin is her friendly, personal approach during office visits. She comes in and talks like we are friends, which has made me so comfortable in sharing the worries that accompany pregnancy. She is incredibly knowledgeable�the practice has a great reputation for being up to date on current research. And, if she doesn�t have an answer to something I ask, she immediately consults with someone else and gets back to me. She has seen me through two pregnancies and delivered one of my sons by a planned c-section. She has also accepted appointments from me that were not necessarily ob gyn related. This is so rare for a specialist, but it has so impressed me that she was willing to do this. I highly recommend her!
