Bad bed side manner, suprisingly rude and condesending. Don..., Feb 9, 2012

I was a little taken back by his rudeness. I will not be going back to him. He did not even bother to say goodby when we left. Not a good experience for me and my child. Right from the moment he come in he was abrupt and condescending. I completely closed down and had a hard time interacting with him because of this. I normally don't write reviews but felt upset by his comments and attitude.
Very pleasant experience with Dr. Montalbano and Staff..., Dec 19, 2011

At this point in time I have not had any surgeries. I found out about Dr. Montalbano when I was searching for GHI doctors on the GHI website. Also when I consulted with a workers compensation attorney the told me about Dr. Montalbano’s website and credentials. I have to say my experience over all has been going well with Regional Orthopedics, although I am still experiencing some pain but this is due to the fact that I am waiting on workers comp. to be approved. After all is said and done I am very pleased so far with the staff at regional orthopedics and the staff at peak performance.
Thank you newLIFE for the care we have received in your Mobile, AL office!..., Dec 2, 2011

Dr. Ripps has been treating my husband and I for almost a year now and we wouldnt dream of seeing anyone else. The staff at newLIFE is so caring and supportive from start to finish. We have found him to be extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. We feel like with the help of Dr. Ripps and his staff we will achieve our dream of having a family. He is board certified and his rates are very fair in comparison to the national average. We could not be happier with the care we have received. If your looking for a great doctor, we recommend him 100%!
Kitty has sharp claws! Ouch!! Alpha Female Power itch..., Nov 23, 2011

I was having trouble with a physical therapist who had done a poor evaluation and was in a great deal of dysfunction and pain related to my spine/pelvis/hips. I was encouraged to see Shenk for a more in depth exam. My husband and I drove three hours to see her. She supported the P.T. entirely without doing a good exam and lectured me as if I were a naughty child. MOst of the appointment was me picking my jaw up off the floor because I was so shocked at her attitude. I was basically set up for more failures and the opportunity to regain function back to my spine and hips to a good level is LONG GONE! Shameful woman-doesn't seem to understand the definition of objective or compassion or thorough. Good luck!
Scott Yegel had a wait time of 50 minutes Unacceptable!..., Oct 17, 2011

. I am most disappointed in the wait time. I waited over 50 minutes to be seen by the doctor. 50 minutes just to have him walk into my room!! I never received any feedback as to the wait and when I addressed the issue to the doctor he merely stated I'm sorry. If the wait time was going to be long, I would appreciate if the doctor/ receptionist asked me if I cared to reschedule, who said I didn't have something else to do? My time is just as valuable as any person, so when I schedule an appointment I expect to be seen at least within 15 minutes. After all, the receptionist is the one looking at the calendar to ensure I am placed in to a time that is compatible with the doctor's schedule. If I arrive late or do not call, I am billed anywhere from $50.00 to $200.00 depending on the incident. If the doctor arrives late, I get nothing except sorry and all my other appointments being thrown off at that time. Why is it OK for the doctor to be late but not the patient? If you have too many people scheduled or you can't wrap up an appointment in a timely manner, maybe you should try placing greater distance between the next patient, to allot for the overtime (which by the way I'm not getting paid for) in which the patient will be occurring. So many times people say this is the norm, this is not acceptable! If you arrive late at the doctor's office you are billed or asked to rescheduled, if you arrive late for an interview you will not get the job, if you arrive late at your job you will be fired. Why is it OK for a doctor in a doctor's office to be late for his/her patients? I had an appointment; I even brought in my paperwork already filled out. I didn't just walk in. I rescheduled an appointment for another doctor while waiting for the doctor to come in, upon him coming In, I left. He or she will no longer be privy to my money when I have to wait excessively.
