Dr. Behm diagnoses and prescribed hip replacement for me. It did not work out well. See below...., Feb 3, 2013 Dr. Behm recommended and installed a metal-on-metal replacement hip called Birmingham Hip Resurfacing. Early on, it was abundantly clear that the hip was infected. However, Dr. Behm performed two more surgeries before acknowledging infection as a root cause. This delay, in our opinion, allowed the infection to incubate to a dangerous stage. Finally, we 'fired' Dr. Behm and had the hip revised by another surgeon who correctly diagnosed the infection and three more surgeries later, I was stable. In conclusion, I would not recommend Dr. Behm for any procedure. |

I am a thirty seven year old, professional woman and I feared of looking like a clown. Your reassurance and surgical touch made it worth it. You picked the excellent size and shape for my body structure, THANK YOU! You also got rid of that “12 year old” look I had. Dr. West Makes Me Laugh...Even during "that" exam and also makes me feel heard. ..., Nov 26, 2012 I've been seeing Dr. West since 2000. I had to move to L.A. for two years and one of my regrets was having to give up Dr. West. As soon as I moved back to Seattle I immediately signed up to see him. I even talked my husband to see him (his PCP before that was Harborview Emergency). Dr. West spends as much time with you as is necessary. However, the thing that impressed me the most and why I have remained so loyal is that Dr. West isn't a "easy fix" kind of guy. His first instinct isn't pills but exercise, proper diet, mental health, etc. However, if medication is necessary he isn't afraid to prescribe it. The best thing I can say about him is that I've sent him several patients over the years and they all equally sing his praises. (FYI - He is now located in Edmonds at the Edmonds Family Clinic). |
