For several years now, I have been having breathing problems and sinus pain during the winter..., Mar 18, 2013 For several years now, I have been having breathing problems and sinus pain during the winter. I had been to a few ENT's in Jackson, M, but when I moved to Memphis, my neighbor said I should make an appointment with Dr. Lazar. This fall and winter was my best in years. After taking a history, he ended up switching some of my medicines. I didn’t feel rushed with him, and had an easy time talking to him. The staff was helpful and friendly enough. It was a very pleasing experience. |

Downhill fast since changes to office and move ..., Mar 7, 2013 Something has happened since he joined NYU. No one answers the phones, have to call for weeks just to get a response, long wait with doc spending no time with you. This is not the level of care or service people expect from a doctor. |

Unfortunately, I can't recommend her. Lacks privacy sensitivity!..., Feb 6, 2013 I saw this doctor once. Her office is very small which would be fine, except while I was there in the waiting room, I could hear everything she was saying during her phone conversation with the insurance company or someone like that. This included the patient's i.d. number, medical problems, lab report results, etc. I couldn't believe it! Doesn't this violate HIPPA laws?? She was using a phone in the front reception area but could prevent this by having a phone in back part of office. Toward the end of our appt., I told her I was concerned about her making calls from phone in front, and I could hear everything she was discussing about a patient. Instead of taking responsibility for the situation, she blamed it on her office, other patients, and then me. She said that that unfortunately she has a small office; that sometimes the reception door gets left open when patients walk in; and that most patients aren't listening for something like that. LOL, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! She may be a good doctor regarding a broken bones and such (I don't know), but she is clueless about protecting patient privacy! No thanks! |

Dr Conlin practices billing fraud for services not rendered..., Dec 21, 2012 Went to Dr Conlin for a physical only and I was billed for physical and a separate office visit. All he did was ask me about pre-existing conditions (from form I had to fill out when I arrived) and then he starts billing me as if he is treating me for those conditions, even though I told him I am seeing another specialist for those pre-existing conditions. This is billing fraud. Dr Conlin also tried to prescribe cholesterol medication even though my cholesterol levels were very good, and he became extremely rude when I questioned the need for that. |

Not very helpful, wouldn't prescribe me meds that I'd been on for years..., Nov 21, 2012 As an internal medicine doctor I can see that she tries, but she's not very helpful. I was regularly seeing another doctor that worked at the same office as her and my usual PCP left so the office automatically rolled me over to her. She gave me a hard time prescribing me the same medications that I'd been on for YEARS AND YEARS and eventually just started denying me my regular medicines saying that she wanted me to get my prescriptions from different specialists every time I need a refill (I originally got these prescriptions prescribed to me BY specialists, then the specialists say to me "Everything is fine, you can get these filled by your PCP and just come back for check ups once or twice a year" Which I DO. To have to get my prescriptions filled by all the different specialists is a huge pain in the ass, especially WHEN I'VE BEEN ON THESE MEDS FOR YEARS AND YEARS. Wouldn't recommend her. |
