Something has happened to my brain and I don't how to fix it...., Apr 20, 2010 On the way to his office I had a paniac attack and did not want to go in. From the time I opened the door his receptionist mad me feel very comfortable and even complimented me on the shirt I was wearing. I know exactly how I looked. It made me smile. When I met with Dr Asta he allowed my husband to go in with me and he started the conversation out with him and about his lifestyle which eased me to be able to tell him about mine. Alot of the times he said things that was exactly what I had done or felt about and explained why my brain was doing what my body did not want it to. He asured me I wasn't crazy and that it could be fixed but not overnight. We, together would work on one thing at a time. My experience was scary at first, but it was a step in the right direction. I would definetly recommend Dr. Asta to a friend or anyone else that may need his type of service.

Great Surgeon Great Staff Great Surgery in Fort Lauderdale..., Jan 11, 2012 I had surgery with Dr. Mayl 4 months ago. At first I was nervous, because I had never had a tummy tuck or facelift. I did the 2 procedures 1 week apart. Yes, I was a little sore, but I expected that. I was really happy after 2 weeks, and them really, really happy after 3 months. |

Diagnosed a fibroid as "symptomatic" for right groin pain..., Nov 22, 2011 Basic anatomy really, isn't it? lower right groin pain can't be confused as uterine pain. Unless your goal is to confuse your patient and get her to agree to an unnecessary hystectomy. I lost my uterus for life for no reason at all, he pocketed a couple thousand. Moral of this story? Find a doctor with morals. |

Never expected this from a Medical Professional......., Sep 22, 2011 TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL ALL THE WAY AROUND I was recommended by coworkers to go to this Doctor since my previous Doctor retired.Upon walking in to the office all looks professional, but when I met with him everything changed. He had a attitude of a "pompas ass". I explained to him I was looking for a new primary care physician because mine retired.Dr Alonso asked me who my former physican name was and he replied "Script Writer". He also stated that."I better not be DR. shopping in order to get scripts". I explained to him I am a NYC Paramedic with 10years on the job, and never needed a script. He looked at me and laughed. At that point I was insulted and should have walked out but I decided to give him the benefit and let him proceed with the blood work-up. As he was drawing blood I noticed he wasn't wearing gloves which is a big "no no" in the health care field and the topper was he returned the Vacutainer holder along with the tourniquet to the draw for use again on another patient.I questioned him on it because we are taught never to re use any supplies on a patient and I explained it to him He said with a smile"What did you say you do for a living and I stated a Paramedic". His insulting reply was "You guys in NYC may waste money and throw out supplies but not in my office, I discard them when I deem necessary. You are only a Paramedic with a crash course in medicine but I went to medical School and made doctor, Who are you to judge me?Never in my life have I ever been insulted by someone in the Medical field and will never put my foot back in his office. I certainally advise caution in going to this mans practice. |

Wonderful Doctor...Very much worth the 300 mile drive..., Sep 2, 2011 Dr Torchinski has been a blessing to my family since the beginning of the diabetic issues with my daughter. Not only are he and his staff knowledgeable but they actually care aswell. Language may be slightly challenged but this is definitely worth it considering his talent. |
