Misdiagnosed and Ignored -- Appointments Canceled -- Don't Go..., Jun 5, 2012 I went here based on reviews and recommendations from local people. After going for a year, I began to tire of the long waits, shorter and shorter office hours and mediocre medical care. I longed for the doctors I saw when I lived in NYC. The last straw was recently, when I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Ali. Not only did she misdiagnose me, she canceled my follow up appointment when I was scared and looking for answers about a medical problem. It was Friday before Memorial Day weekend, so I can imagine they wanted to close earlier than their 1pm close time. I had my records switched and began seeing a new doctor in Hoboken who has diagnosed and began treating my medical problem. Two weeks after my canceled appointment, Dr. Ali called me back to "see how I was feeling." I think they don't understand how to properly care for patients here and I'm glad that I'm no longer a patient. I hope this review helps someone to not be as blind as I was and get better care.

Poor customer service. No compassion. Not helpful. Rude. No resolutions offered. ..., May 14, 2013 Regarding our appointment this morning of May 14, 2013. Upon arriving my 94 year old mother was anxious to to avail herself to the services of Dr. Kligman for chronic neck pain. I had been referred to Dr. Kligman by my personal physician. Upon presenting my mothers insurance card we were informed that it would not be excepted as Dr. Kligman was not listed as the primary care physician. I was disappointed to say the least when i was informed of this, as it was never explained to me when the appointment for a new patient was made that Dr. Kligman would have to be elected as her primary care physician in order for her insurance card to be accepted and to be seen by the Dr. I told the receptionist behind the desk that Healthnet would absolutely pay as I occasionally bring my mother to other primary care physicians that are not listed on her insurance card with out issues from the insurance company (healthnet). No avenue of resolution was offered by the receptionist, and in my opinion I was treated very rudely and was also told that my attitude was not appreciated, at which time I told her I also did not appreciate her shortness with me either, to which she exclaimed that I came into the office with that attitude, which is NOT the case. I became agitated because after waiting 4 months for this appointment I felt that it was neglgent on their part that we were never informed that in order to be seen we would need to elect Dr. Kligman as our primary care physician prior to our appointment. I believe this was an oversight in their policy and not a fault of the patient. I asked her to call the insurance company to verify that there would be no problem and was rebuffed, at which time I thought it best that I call the insurance company so their office would be assured of payment. I made that call, there was no one else in the waiting room at the time and I was not causing a disturbance. After several minutes on hold with Healthnet I was ab |

Mislead about insurance co-pay and had to pay $350..., Apr 5, 2013 Went in for a mole consultation and got what I thought was included in my $40 co-pay (3 mole tests). 4 of their staff (including Dr. Fichtel) told me that the mole tests were "covered by insurance". Ended up getting a $350 bill for the testing. The situation went downhill from there... |

Helpful, Caring, Compassionate, Understanding, Factual, 10 out of 10!!!..., Mar 22, 2013 I went to Dr. Fellenbaum after being referred to him by my previous GYN. I was having painful intercourse for 6+ months and it was causing my marrage to fall apart. I had been to 3 gyns before I saw Dr. Fellenbaum and was beginning to feel there was no hope. After 3-4 visits with Dr. Fellenbaum he was able to pinpoint what was causing the pain. We changed some medications and I was able to reconnect with my husband! Dr. Fellenbaum is very knowledgeable, but if I ever had a question that he did not have an answer to, he would reach out to his many contact across the US and have an answer for me by my next visit. He is simply a marriage saver and I can not thank him enough!!! |

Dr Wilson Cook is Outstanding and I would recommend him to anyone..., Feb 26, 2013 Dr Wilson Cook is probably the best doctor I have ever had. He is intelligent, soft-spoken, considers your input seriously, no matter how amateur and 'hot off the internet' it may be. My health has improved much under his care. His staff is very professional, but the phone messaging system is annoying, and the facilities are old, with visible mold in some places along the ceiling, which is typical for old buildings. But his staff is still great, and Dr Cook himself is the best general physician I have ever had. |
