What a mistake I made when going to Doctor Shirley Yee..., May 31, 2011 I went to Dr. Yee because Dr. Anderson retired. What a MISTAKE THAT WAS. First of all, Dr. Yee's receptionist Sue, has POOR customer service & treats clients like they are children. I was seen for an injured knee which unfortunately came on all of a sudden, & wasn't an injury I could pinpoint that casued my knee to be swollen. My last appt. Sue forgot that I had checked in while I was sitting in the lobby for about 45 mins PASSED my appt time & let another pateint in before realizing she forgot about me. While I was in the waiting room, I heard Sue talking about me & my situation with my knee which is againts OSHA Rules & Patent confidentialty. Who talks about a patient like that? & Where I could hear her? All Dr. Yee had to say, was she was Sorry, well Dr. Yee the one who is sorry is me, my knee has been injured for the past 5 months & Dr. Yee REALLY HASN'T DONE A THING FOR ME BESIDES GIVE ME THE RUN AROUND WITH AN XRAY, ULTRASOUND, THEN TO PULLING TEETH TO GET AN mri DONE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT EXACTLY IS CAUSING MY KNEE PAIN. I will NEVER REFER people to her or see her again. & I hope she gets Sue customer service training becasue she has no people skills whatsoever. I cannot believe these are the people Scripps has been hiring.

Knowledgeable and Caring Family Practice Physician..., Dec 10, 2010 Have been seeing Dr. Yee for about 2 months for a chronic condition that has proven difficult to treat. Compared to other practitioners I've encountered over the years, she is perhaps the best in my memory for bedside manner, diagnostic skills, promptness and overall quality of treatment.

Avoid this "Doctor" if you care about yourself and your loved ones!..., Apr 19, 2012 I saw this individual at Starke Shands ER per advice from my primary doctor. If you care about your health or your loved ones' health, DO NOT see this doctor. He is extrememly rude, does not listen to you, does not check what medications you are presently taking, and will not look at your injuries. Instead he prescribes painkillers without really knowing what is going on. I consulted a pharmacist with the medicaitons he prescribed because I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. His ego is truly ruining his quality of care, which to me, is practically non-existant. Beware of this quack! |

Really wonderful surgeon and fantastic office staff...., Mar 18, 2012 Dr Goff is an excellent surgeon and she is also very kind and always takes time to explain things to me and discuss alternatives. She worked with my naturopath and combined standard medical therapy with alternative therapies and I am really grateful for the great care that she has given me. Her nurses, Holly and Heidi are simply the best in the world. |

Wouldn't send my worst enemy to him or his staff. Avoid at all cost!..., Feb 17, 2012 I've been to lots of doctors in my time, but "Doctor Carter" (if he so can be called) is the worst. Not even a close second. He spent roughly 15 minutes in the room with me, in which, 10 of those minutes were him typing my information into a computer. Never even listened to my symptoms, just typed. Also, I had to argue endlessly with his nurse to write me a higher amount of my prescription, even after my insurance had agreed to a higher amount. She was just too lazy to write it, or confirm with the insurance company. Stay away if you care about your health! His staff is equally useless. I requested my lab results 4 TIMES before they sent them out 1 MONTH later. It's sad, but he has jaded me to the medical profession. If you don't care about people, why become a doctor? |
