My Experience with Dr Giannoulias and his Staff was a bad experience ..., Nov 10, 2010

This doctor seemed to care more about money and who was going to pay than asking his staff to follow up with insurance (Medicaid). Dr. Giannoulias (actually came out to the front desk to tell me, in all the years I have seen doctors I have never had a doctor talk to me about insurance or billing, always his front end staff) what he and his staff were completely ignorant on. What was frustrating is that I explain to him both what Medicaid and told me directly. Needless to say left his office and call another and they immediately (same day) gave me an appointment and had no problem whatsoever with Medicaid and fully understood its procedures. I had called previously and explain to his office my insurance they said no problem - overall rating - TERRIBLE - Dr. G did not seem to have a problem sporting all his gold! I thought I was talking to Pimp Granddaddy G - for those who go, you'll see what I mean : )

misdiagnosed and dismissed by this doctor serious condition..., Jan 6, 2012

Extremely friendly and bright, saw him for years while he couldn't figure out my medical issue. When it worsened extremely and I fell violently ill for weeks, I pressed him for an answer and he became angry, dismissive and misdiagnosed me. Finally, he sent a referral in the mail, with instructions to call his office, but his office couldn't find a specialist for me (liver) and he put no urgency on the referral. I had to find my own surgeon and it took me months to get in as a self referred person. Surgeon wanted to operate the following week, it was that serious.
A friendly doctor who makes too many mistakes and then covers them over...., Dec 16, 2011

My husband and I both went to Dr. Hoing for about two years. She is very easy to talk with but makes too many mistakes. She has me on a medicine 20mg more than the doctor recommended dose. She also has not filled out paperwork for my care in over a month. She has made numerous mistakes with my husband as well. She has placed undo stress on our family and she in my opinion is not living up to her Hippocratic Oath: "I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick." We will no longer see her and we advise everyone to be careful who do seek her professional care.
Unprofessional office, Unneeded "surgery"............., Nov 22, 2011

The office was very unprofessional, front desk girl acted like she had better things to do than help people. Zero wait (now I know why). Doctor Chan came across nice and knowledgeable, but said my ears looked fine, but then proceeded to use a vacuum tool to suck any wax out of my ear, which would be fine except that insurance companies categorize that as "surgery" which means that it is no longer covered by insurance and I had to pay out of pocket. Doctor Chan performed unneeded surgery. I have to pay out of my own pocket for an unneeded (20 seconds at most) procedure. When I later complained to his office, they wouldn't remove the charge. Beware.
Wisdom teeth extractions, I recommend this doctor!..., Nov 20, 2011

Dr Shah is very professional, informative, easy-going and efficient! I had two wisdom teeth extracted yesterday and had no down time. No pain or discomfort, and I my mouth stopped bleeding last night. The procedure itself was stunningly quick and painless (I went with the nitrusoxide option... laughing gas). Everyone in his office was knowledgeable and assertive, from the moment you walk into the office it feels comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr Shah for any oral surgery you need! -Candace K.
UNPROFESSIONAL UNFRIENDLY STAFF and RUDE BEHAVIOR DONT WELCOME THEIR CUSTOMERS..., Sep 10, 2011

Had gone to Dr. Najac office as i was diagonised with cataracts in both eyes. I had a terrible experience with their staff which i want to share with other patients. you will experience for yourself once you go there that what i am writing here is 100% true. The girls at this office are extremely unfriendly. the day of my appointment i was in the street cud see because of my cataracts. i couldnt find their office as it was not on main street there was another entrance to it. so i had to call twice the girl was so rude she almost hung up on me. she didnt want to help. i am shocked that they treat their customers this way. how can they stay in business with so much competition around. they dont answer calls dont answer questions. after a long wait i was able to meet dr najac. he seems to be nice and told me i needed surgery for my cataracts. i scheduled the surgery. because of the girls not following up my surgery was cancelled two days before surgery. i wasted so much time to go for my medical clearance etc to be ready for the surgery. the girls at this office were totally not telling the truth by saying they never received my medical clearnance paperwork. when my doctors secretary faxed them three times and they kept saying they dont have it. she picked up the phone and yelled at them. and right away they say they have it. so that means they were lying all along. I am very disappointed with them. I went all the way to North Shore Eye Care in long island. I got my left eye done by Dr. John Mauro. Service is amazing there. there is a team of four doctors who are sooo good. So organized place. they call you and confirm everything. you exactly know what to expect. I am glad that i didnt get the surgery fm this place as i am scared to think how it would have turned out. Please make sure before you proceed. Good Luck
