He was an excellent doctor, surgeon and honest human being...., May 19, 2013 Unfortunately, Dr. Michael Regan has passed away. He was my doctor for over 20 years. He was a good, compassionate and highly intelligent doctor who respected people. He will be missed by many patients and the medical community. |

Great doctor. he knows his stuff......................., Mar 18, 2013 After reading some of the reviews on other sites about Dr. Lazar, I wasn’t sure that I wanted to see him, but a friend of mine kept saying that he is a graet doc. After seeing him a few times now, I can see where he might come off as gruff. Not everyone can be a teddy bear. Dr. Lazar knows his stuff and has a no-nonsense approach. That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t care tho. Seems to me he’s a good guy. |

Peddles quack medicine and couldn't care less about a patient's time..., Jan 29, 2013 Doctor Masri leaves one wondering what planet he’s from regarding some of the questionable voodoo science he advocates and the dismissive attitude he takes to other specialists. He’s very big on advocating the use of a highly expensive allergy test that insurance companies won’t cover (that should clue you up) and which is largely discredited by allergy specialists and a medical community that sees it as outdated science that renders far too many false positives and verges on the kind of quackery one would normally associate with the more outrageous claims of some in the alternative medicine community. Dr. Masri also took it upon himself to render ‘expert’ opinion on a bowel condition I’ve had for some years and which he claimed was all down to allergies and diet, thus segueing into his advocacy for the testing process mentioned above. The views expressed ran contrary to every opinion I’ve been given by a number of gastroenterologists through the years regarding my condition and how I should treat it, but what was even more disturbing was the manner in which he tried convincing me to cancel my planned appointment for the periodic colonoscopy my condition requires to check for inflammation and any signs of cancer. All of this of course from a medical practitioner I’d made an appointment to see regarding a mole on my forehead that had given me cause for concern! To rub salt into the wound, a follow-up appointment to garner the results of a series of blood tests that were taken on my first visit showed that the clinic has as little respect for the time of its patients as it has for their intelligence when peddling garbage science. My appointment was for a little past 9 in the morning so I theoretically must have been one of the first patients for the day, yet 70 minutes later I had yet to see Dr. Masri, with no apology or explanation from the disinterested staff. If you're looking to manage pain, find another doctor!!..., Dec 3, 2012 My wife has Crohn's disease, and finding a Dr. to manage pain in Fairbanks has so far proven impossible. We went to see him, and he didn't feel her input was necessary. All he wanted to do was get her off pain medications. Which would be fine IF there was any way to get rid of the chronic horrific pain that Crohn's causes. He said he had no way of knowing if she was really in pain or not. (Guess they didn't cover Crohn's Disease in his medical school) He was rude and just tried to hide his unwillingness to help behind medical terminology. I would not recommend this Dr. to anyone, not even as an anaesthesiologist for surgery. (After all, he has no way of knowing if you're in pain). If you have Crohn's disease, DO NOT move to Fairbanks! We are now in the process of moving from our home in search of actual medical care... |
