Too lazy/busy of a Dr to see my daughter in the ER!..., Jul 20, 2012 Dr Choban was to lazy/busy to come to the ER to see my 11 yr old daughter for a broken leg! Both bones were broken one was into her growth plate. She had 3 shots of Morphine in less than 4 hours that's how much pain she was in. But he said send her home in s splint and I will see her in my Clinic on Weds...HELLO it's Monday night! WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND... 11 years old- so much pain she can't even talk-oh let's not worry about the fact the bone was in her GROWTH PLATE- we are talking possible PERMANENT damage to her for the REST OF HER LIFE!!!!! Your license should be taken away! That is my mission! Oh by the way... My husband and I demand that she be transferred to Childrens Hospital . They took care of her and she was pretty much out of pain by WEDS!

Dr. Maggie is a God sent! She really knows her stuff...., Apr 6, 2013 I had been taking my daughter to her previous doctor for over a year for a chronic problem and he was unable to figure it out. Within 2 minutes Dr. Maggie knew what the problem was and how to fix it. If it was not for her my daughter would still be suffering. She is very knowledgeable, and offers many ideas for natural remedies to things if you are interested in trying them. Great doctor! |

Mislead about insurance co-pay and had to pay $350..., Apr 5, 2013 Went in for a mole consultation and got what I thought was included in my $40 co-pay (3 mole tests). 4 of their staff (including Dr. Fichtel) told me that the mole tests were "covered by insurance". Ended up getting a $350 bill for the testing. The situation went downhill from there... |

Downhill fast since changes to office and move ..., Mar 7, 2013 Something has happened since he joined NYU. No one answers the phones, have to call for weeks just to get a response, long wait with doc spending no time with you. This is not the level of care or service people expect from a doctor. |

Peddles quack medicine and couldn't care less about a patient's time (part 2)..., Jan 29, 2013 will charge you like a wounded bull for their own precious time? Arrogance? Disdain? The kind of greed that pushes them to cram their appointment schedule with as many patients as possible per day? And would it kill their staff to at least offer up some kind of token apology or explanation when keeping you waiting interminably? Whatever, I got up and left in disgust. Having done my homework via the internet on the allergy test Dr. Masri peddles so stridently, and added to the manner with which he so casually played with my own health via the dismissive attitude he took to the views of gastroenterology specialists I’ve seen through the years, I’d already decided that he was certainly not the kind of medical practitioner I wanted to entrust my health to, or that of my family, on a long term basis. After the fiasco of waiting to see him so long, my view was doubly confirmed. |

The worst experience I've ever had with a doctor! So disappointed!..., Jan 28, 2013 Didn't like Tidwell AT ALL.Judy the NP was sweet but didn't agree with all her advice either.A couple of the office staff were nice including Kay,but receptionist Mina was extremely rude once I decided to leave Tidwell. At 34 weeks Tidwell started implying I might need to deliver early. The first "problem" was the baby wasn't showing sufficient weight gain. Then fluid in the sack seemed low.The next day it was fine. Then baby wasn't moving enough. Then baby showed signs of stress during contractions. Then baby's heartbeat didn't accelerate and stay accelereated during contractions.Every time I went something new was wrong, but the next day the issue would be resolved.VERY SUSPICIOUS!@ 36 weeks I switched to the midwives.I knew they wouldn't pressure me to have a c-section unless it was totally necessary!I had my baby at 38 weeks. He was completely healthy @ 7.1 lbs and 20 1/2 in.Thank you Jesus!Delivery took 4 1/2 hrs but I only pushed 45 minutes!I went all natural. No epidural or anything! My advice:have the courage to leave before it's too late! |
