Better Plastic surgeons in Mobile, doesn't know insurance procedure, non caring..., May 17, 2012

Hard time getting a return phone call once your procedure is over with. Dr and staff are 20 years behind on covered procedures with insurance. Certainly will NOT return a phone call about insurance after your claim is denied, and will screen your calls about that matter. They charge up front, so they have their money, and could care less if you get reimbursed or not. When I was upset about having to have the procedure done, I started crying. Dr Proffitt just walked out of the room!
MAD DOG Millionaire aka Punyamurtula Kishore MD 20 20..., Apr 23, 2012

I was in a AA meeting once and the speaker mentioned Dr Kishore, and the entire room erupted into laughter. I saw him back in the late 90s and he was a quack then. He was FAR from free. He had been fined years ago because when you sat in his waiting room (an hour was considered quick) he'd bill the insurance co's for that time. Then once you saw him he'd tell you what a great guy he was for working with addicts. Ive been clean for over 10 years now and those professionals who really helped me were ones that didnt need to continiously pat themselves on the back. Addicts are a nightmare to work with, and I commend all those that put up with it all to help those in need. But theres no way you're ever going to convince me Kishore was one of those people.
5 minute walk in doctor who misdiagnosed my problem, I will never go back...., Apr 8, 2012

Had a horrible experience, at the riverwalk in Lawrence. Doctor did one test and told me I would be all set, always looking at his fashionable casio g-shock watch. I was skeptical but he was the doctor. Over the next couple of days continued getting sicker until finally I broke done and dropped another copay, but this time I went to another walk in clinic in the area. They correctly diagnosed my problem and got me on the meds I needed. still on the mend but feeling alot better, no thanks to this d-bag.
Wouldn't send my worst enemy to him or his staff. Avoid at all cost!..., Feb 17, 2012

I've been to lots of doctors in my time, but "Doctor Carter" (if he so can be called) is the worst. Not even a close second. He spent roughly 15 minutes in the room with me, in which, 10 of those minutes were him typing my information into a computer. Never even listened to my symptoms, just typed. Also, I had to argue endlessly with his nurse to write me a higher amount of my prescription, even after my insurance had agreed to a higher amount. She was just too lazy to write it, or confirm with the insurance company. Stay away if you care about your health! His staff is equally useless. I requested my lab results 4 TIMES before they sent them out 1 MONTH later. It's sad, but he has jaded me to the medical profession. If you don't care about people, why become a doctor?
Money More Important Than Patient Care To Dr Chadha..., Jan 10, 2012

When I went to make an appointment, I was told that I was expected to pay between $200-$300 UP FRONT to see him because I do not have health insurance. When I explained that the number was completely asinine and I could not afford to pay that amount, the receptionist spoke down to me explaining that he "is a specialist and there are set value amounts for these things" that it "has to do with codes and other confusing things" that I just "didn't understand." This angered me, as I am currently waiting to sit for my RHIT accreditation through AHIMA, meaning that I DO understand and know how to code and bill for doctor's offices. Once I explained to her that I had never coded a chart for an office visit where a patient was required to pay $200 up front due to lack of insurance, she became annoyed and suggested I go elsewhere. I would NOT suggest Dr. Chadha or any of his associates at O'Reilly Medical Consultants because apparently money is more important to them than patient care.
