An allergy mill, incompetent medical practice there..., Oct 5, 2010

Was already more than one hour late by 10 in the morning (with no apology from anybody). Then had trouble figuring out the ear scope. His exam was limited to asking me where my headaches occur, looking in my mouth, and looking in my ears. He took *two* phone calls out of the exam room in the space of an office visit that was maybe 10 minutes. In the process he forgot which ear he saw some debris in and what we were talking about before he left to take the phone call. He said my sinuses were *not* congested and when I told him I could feel that they were congested his reply was "well, I would have to use a scope to see congestion" - begging the question why he didn't and why he would give an opinion like that without an exam to back it up! Then he went on to opine that I was allergic to dust mites and that there was really nothing I could do about it (but take his medication regimen forever). He did not ask what my household was like or if I suffered more inside the house or out or what I had done to eliminate dust mites in my home. (I suffer more outside and have a memory foam mattress and a leather couch so fewer dust mites) He wanted to set me up for allergy testing which is apparently what his office does for patients. Then I had to wait in a line of patients, an additional 15 minutes to be checked out. When I returned home (5 minutes away) I had been gone for over 2 hours. Disgusted. Today, another sinus headache no thanks to that quack.

Fantastic Doctor and Staff - was able to get an appointment for the same day..., Mar 18, 2013

Dr. Lazar was really fantastic. I called the office after I had a sudden loss of hearing in one ear. They worked me in for the same day. Dr. Lazar explained that immediate attention was needed since the possibility existed that the hearing loss could be permanent, however unlikely, if not treated immediately. After a short course of steroids, the matter was resolved. I returned to the office a few weeks later for a hearing test, and everything was fine. I’m very grateful to Dr. Lazar and his staff for treating me so quickly and effectively.
Dr Laurence Dahners (UNC Orthopedics) is a dangerous doctor..., Jan 26, 2013

I had osteomyelitis and Dr. Dahners lied to me and told me I did not. It was either he lied or he is incompetent. Dahners mocked me and said I was malnourished. He was just blame mean and egotistical.
  Excellent psychiatrist-great care without over-medicating..., Jan 19, 2013

Excellent psychiatrist. Provides great care without over-medicating. I worked with a few psychiatrists before her that kept adding medications. She reduced the number of medications I take and I feel much better.
Words cannot describe the feelings my family has towards this so-called doctor..., Jan 1, 2013

We saw this Dr. Erlacher in the ER of our local hospital. My 10 year old daughter came in with severe abdominal pain. I was worried that it may be her appendix. After waiting several hours he finally ordered an x-ray in which he saw a "blockage". He diagnosed her pain as constipation without looking further into this so-called blockage. Three days later we ended up in the ER of the nearest city's hospital. (We live in very rural area.) When the doctors there saw this "blockage" on the xray they did an Ct Scan and an ultrasound. She was in surgery within an hour. What this so-called doctor diagnosed as constipation was actually a 10cm cyst on her right ovary. The result was a salpingo-oophorectomy. Her right tube and ovary had to be removed. The surgeon who fixed her said if we had waited any longer it could have killed her. If Dr. Gray Erlacher had been more thorough and less "charismatic" my daughter would not have suffered for as long as she did. He's very lucky she survived.
