Great Doctor! Must see her for Obstetric and Gyn Care..., Apr 11, 2013

She is compassionate and competent. I recommend her to all of my friends. She takes time to answer my questions. Her staff is caring and helpful. I love her PA and nurse practitioner. I am so lucky to have found her.
Downhill fast since changes to office and move ..., Mar 7, 2013

Something has happened since he joined NYU. No one answers the phones, have to call for weeks just to get a response, long wait with doc spending no time with you. This is not the level of care or service people expect from a doctor.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH DOCTOR NEELU/ABHAY AGARWAL..., Feb 17, 2013

I am relating this incident to DESCRIBE WHAT I BELIEVE IS negligence and poor knowledge of Dr. Neelu and Abhay Agarwal. The subject of this unfortunate malpractice is my grand mother.Who was then 82 yrs old,in good health and lead an active lifestyle. In 2010,she suddenly started to suffer from a watery discharge and bleeding.I immediately called my primary physician,Dr Neelu Agarwal for advice.I explained the problem, provided medical history and asked if I should take her to the ER.The doctor advised against this and recommended to bring my grand mother to her office the following day instead. She ran a urine test, pap smear and concluded it was only urine infection and prescribed antibiotics. A couple weeks later the situation persisted. Dr Abhay Agarwal saw her as well and had the same conclusion.Since there was no improvement I took her back to Dr Neelu after few days again.Advicing against a visit to the gynecologist/ specialist she concluded that the problem still persisted due to use of TOLIET PAPER and even prescribed a external cream for the same. The problem went on for over 2 months. After which the bleeding subsided by itself until the following year in 2011,when she started to suffer from the same problem again.Trusting them I took my grand mother back to the same doctors again, same tests were conducted and same conclusion which was use of TOILET PAPER! I finally decided to seek a third opinion seen this had gone on for too long. The gynecologist was very surprised by Dr Neelu and Abhay’s prognosis. This unfortunately turned out to be UTERINE CANCER!Which if was detected wisely in 2010 by them would have saved her life. Today her cancer has now spread to the lungs and is in her final stage and is suffering terribly. We continued to check with other doctors and were told that all medical students are taught very early in there medical education that any woman after menopause having any kind of discharge should be checked for MALAGNANCY.I even did I qui
Good staff, horrible "doctor" - Wallet stuffer versus actual clinician ..., Feb 10, 2013

In a few words? - Horrible bed side manner; dodged questions and threatened to quit when we inquired about alternative treatment methods. This dude is older than the internet as we know it and he was throwing hissy-fits like a rabid Bieber-fan. - Extremely pessimistic. Every conversation boiled down to DEATH. Look, I get that cancer is no walk in the park, but rubbing our faces in it is counterproductive and honestly, believe it or not, does more harm than good. After the nth time of being told "HE IS GOING TO DIE," we stopped talking to him about and kept his patient visits short. - Biggest gripe? Cancer research is a constantly developing field and new, novel discoveries are made often enough that you might spot it in the newspaper or online. It should have been a huge red flag when this so-called M.D. was absolutely clueless about significant changes in our understanding of how cancer works. Final remarks? He gave up on our father when we walked through the door the first time. Had we known of his lazy, outdated way of treatment, we would have walked right back out of that room without hesitation.
thumbs up for park avenue lasek, dr. chynn and his entire team..., Dec 27, 2012

About two years ago I considered laser eye correction but wasn’t able to get it done back then. Through my research I kept coming back to Dr. Chynn’s Park Avenue LASEK. So although I wasn’t able to get it then I stored it in my bookmarks. Naturally, when I started thinking about laser vision correction I eagerly went and looked up Dr. Chynn again. The site made it clear that the caliber of care would and attention to detail was in every aspect of the staff. I called and made my FREE consultation and was not disappointed. In fact I was never more excited at this cutting edge technique of NO CUT, NO FLAP making it SAFER than the older technique that is still widely used elsewhere. Even more excited is how affordable it is at Park Avenue Lasek. The staff is also great. It helps that most have had the procedure done themselves so when they talk it’s with firsthand experience. Dr. Almeida answered every question I had and proved very patient and knowledgeable. And Dr. Chynn oversees ever aspect and is right there to personally meet with and answer any additional questions that each client has. If you’re interested in vision correction than Park Avenue Lasek is THE place. And if you’re not interested in laser vision correction I challenge you to just take a few minutes to look at their site. Do your own research, I know you won’t regret it. And if your still unsure come watch a live procedure the glass OR! Karimah A. One of the many happy Park Avenue Clients
