friendly doctor, but only when it suits her. Goddess attitude..., Mar 31, 2012 Dr. Lee at first comes across as a friendly doctor who actually wants to help her patients, but as time (and experience) with this doctor go's on - you see the real side of her. She's opinionted, thinks her ideas/diagnosis are the only one which matters. If you tell her a medication isn't working, she looks at you in a distrustful manner and questions you as to have you've been taking the medication and taking it properly. If you have a long term illness which isn't progressing in a positive manner, she starts to become impatient with you and questions whether you want to get better or not. She insists on lots of tests (labs, scans, mri's) and seeing different specilists. She also prescribes a multi-tude of prescriptions. Her office staff needs training in how to effectively interact with patients in a positive manner - as does the doctor. |

Mole removal, very bad experience.terrible scarring and pain..., Mar 9, 2012 told me I needed 4 moles removed without offering any other options. He left me with 15 stitches in my leg, 8 in my back and 2 in my neck. Did not communicate to me what was happening during procedure. Due to severity of wound left on my leg, I could not walk for a week and am still suffering. Incisions were sloppy and stitches were not done properly. Never makes eye contact and types on his computer during the whole visit. Talked about himself and his political agendas throughout the surgical procedure. Did not make me aware of the type of wound that I would be caring for afterward. I am left with horrific scarring. Do not allow this doctor to perform any sort of surgical procedure on you. |

Told me my dad's RX would be VERY strong - it was an 'OTC'..., Feb 23, 2012 Unbelievable that he (& NE Baptist Hospital) kept assuming my dad's pain was 'in his head' - he (again) told me his diagnosis was 'constipation' - said 'this RX is very strong' - I went to the drug store & pharmacist looked a little embarrassed, and said 'you don't need a prescription for this - it's just Dulcalax' Thanks, Doc!!! We finally went to a different hospital & doctor & w/in 48 hours they discovered and treated a compression fracture in his spine - Immediate relief. (This is after 4-5 visits in/out of NE Baptist in 2 months for my 84 year old father.) We've not gone back, & I warn people not to go to this un-caring doctor. |

Thank you newLIFE for the care we have received in your Mobile, AL office!..., Dec 2, 2011 Dr. Ripps has been treating my husband and I for almost a year now and we wouldnt dream of seeing anyone else. The staff at newLIFE is so caring and supportive from start to finish. We have found him to be extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. We feel like with the help of Dr. Ripps and his staff we will achieve our dream of having a family. He is board certified and his rates are very fair in comparison to the national average. Dr Betsy August........................... Horrible!..., Nov 29, 2011 I have seen Dr August a few times. Each time was unpleasant. Dr August does not take the time to listen to her patients nor does she help you with your concerns, and rushes right out of the room. Needless to say I will no longer be seeing her! |
