Prior to my total knee replacement, the pain level was constantly between a 7-10. I was walking with a cane because my knee was constantly hurting me. Going up and down stairs was almost impossible. I was being woken up during the night from the knee pain and therefore was not getting a restful night’s sleep. I tried to exercise as much as possible but it was difficult. I started to become somewhat of a hermit because when you can’t walk you really can’t do much. I was starting to have to take time off of work because of the pain. Activitites that I lived doing, (dancing, racquet ball, walking) I wasn’t able to do any longer. I have been using Dr. Montalbano for over 10 years. I first saw him at Bayley Seton Hospital when he was taking care of another patient in the pre-op area. I was so impressed with how he was treating that patient that when he left I asked the woman who he was. Later on when I needed an orthopedist I went to see him and have been using him ever since. As far as office staff goes – I have never had a problem. Always courteous, polite, very informative, helpful and respectful of your privacy. (Even though I scheduled surgeries and cancelled them I was always treated the same.) Dr. Montalbano and his staff are always up on the latest surgical techniques, surgical procedures and treatments. Waiting time is usually not too long. When I would call in with any questions, someone always got back to me in a very reasonal amount of time. After finally scheduling the surgery, that I actually went through with, Dr. Montalbano and Michelle Pokrassa (RPA) went over the surgical procedure and any questions I had they went over with me several times until I felt that I was comfortable with the knowledge. The surgery went so much better than expected. I was so frightened of being in the hospital over a weekend but I have to say that the weekend staff was better than the weekday staff. I posted a FACTUAL negative review of Dr Kordonowy a week ago. He pulled it down almost as fast as it was published! AMAZING!! In conversations with multiple patients, I have found several examples, from several patients, where Dr Kordonowy prescribed inappropriate medications for a given medical condition. My dad sees a VA doctor, and had - until recently, been seeing Dr Kordonowy. Dr K- has several times prescribed pills and creams that were deemed inappropriate by his VA doctors. One thing that Dr Kordonowy excels at is billing - and for an extra $1500 you can get him to actually VISIT you in the hospital if you get sick. Otherwise, you're on your own. This guy is a fraud.

Saw Dr. Alba for what I thought was a chest cold. He gave me 5 minutes of his time and said I should take the antibiotic her wrote. I thought that it was strange that he really didnt allow me more time. 2 days later I was in the ER with pneumonia. I was told that I probably was sick for over a week with it. I will not go back to See Dr. Alba.

Worse doctor I have ever seen.. multnomah county should be EXTREMELY ashamed. She has no idea what it takes to be an intelligent and outstanding doctor. She needs to stand back and ask herself if its more helpful to do more bad then good. Very sad in

I have never been treated with such disrespect ever. There is a youong girl that works there I am not sure if she is an intern or what, but she is extremely rude and hangs up on people if she doesn't like what your saying. I thought doctors staff were suppose to be courteous, I guess I was wrong. Don't be fooled by their facade, the staff is obsurdely fake and don't care for the well being of anyone.
