Patient Reviews

It was obvious this doctor was only worried about the bottom line. ..., Mar 22, 2010

What a horrible visit! I was referred to Dr. Bochow through my neurologist and I couldn't have been more disappointed. After sitting in his waiting for over 2 hours, I was taken back to a room to wait another 20 min. When he walked in, he didn't even introduce himself! He just sat down and ignored me. After I said "hi" he finally acknowledged my presence. His next words to me? "So, you FEEL like you've been having double vision?" Great, not only is he rude, he doubts his patients symptoms. As if I like having double vision? He barely asked me any questions, waved his fingers in front of my face and looked in my eyes with a light. For a "highly" trained doctor, he showed his expertise in no way. My own optometrist did much more than that and I didn't have to pay her $275 for the visit. For a 3 hour visit, I spent, literally, no more than 5 minutes with this doctor. It was a waste of my time. I would NOT recommend him to my friends nor my enemies.

They only care about your money, they over charge you ..., Feb 7, 2012

I went to visit the office to have my annual eye check. When I was in the office, everyone keep asking me if I have any friends or family need eye check. And I found out later that they charge me $50 just for putting a pair of contact lens into my eye. When I called, they said that this is just their practice, you don't have to come back.

***************HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, DO NOT USE!!!! ..., Oct 12, 2011

I went to the ER with what was diagnosed as gallstones and needed gall bladder removal surgery. He was sweet and funny and told me to call and schedule the surgery for thurs or fri with one of his associates because he would not be able to fit me in the following day, but if he had been able to, he would have admitted me. I called the next day, they told me I needed to go in for a consult, meaning missing more work so that they could get more money?! WHAT?! I said well, I was just supposed to schedule surgery, he already did the exam and history at the hospital, so it's just the paperwork? could you please have him call me since this is not what he told me and I had another person with me that confirmed the same story as I was saying? He called me back, was rude and condecending and told me that he was referring me to another group because I would not want a dr that is unhappy with what I was saying performing my surgery! is that a THREAT?! I was in excruiating pain and he's going to play games?!
Willard Andrews Oncologist Abington Hospital, Abington PA..., Sep 10, 2011

I can't say one good word about Dr. Andrews, nor Abington Hospital. It was a big mistake to rely on Dr. Andrew's to care for my elderly family member. The patient died, while Andrew's administered no cancer treatment. A top cancer center submitted a conflicting 2nd opinion. Andrews put a spin on the diagnose, to protect himself, at the ultimate expense of the patient. Andrews did not administer cancer treatment and the patient succumbed. There are plenty of very good cancer centers in the Abington, PA area. There is no reason to go to Abington Hospital and be subjected to Dr. Andrews.

The doctors office is gracious and helpful. The doctor is great! I rarely have had to wait. The office is efficient and care about your time and you. It has been a great experience all around. And the doctor is thorough and takes his time in explaining what is needed and why. He is truly a partner in managing your health.
