  Dr. Troy R Williams and Medfirst: no bedside manner and rude staff..., Mar 18, 2011

I went to see Dr. Williams as a new patient. My first visit was not great but i thought to stick it out . I wish i didn't. He has no bedside manner, and dismissed my concerns. When i saw him he was very rushed and didn't review my medical history. I tried to go over my concerns but the whole time he never made eye contact instead looking only at his laptop. The second time i went i did have a medical concern and again he was rushed. I tried to explain my symptoms but he didn't listen and gave me a prescription without explaining the reason for it. I tried to talk to him about the prescription and my actual health concern but he again didnt listen and rushed out of the office. I have had to make complaints to the office manager more then once. The office staff is rude and not helpful at all. This office easily bills you but doesnt provide the necessary medical care they should.

I injured my shoulder in 2010 while training with a barbell. This is the doctor I ended up going with while looking for a sports medicine doctor who specializes in shoulders. After waiting 3 months for my appointment, and 45 minutes waiting at their office for my appointment, I got maybe 5 minutes of time with the doctor. He ignored me completely when I tried explaining the type of pain I'm going through, and when the injury occurred. He injected my shoulder with cortizone, and told me it was just inflammation. In 2012, my shoulder is getting worse, to the point where I can't ignore the pain at all. I schedule an appointment with a different doctor and the University of Iowa, and on the first appointment, they schedule an arthrogram and MRI. The MRI confirmed that I have a tear in my labrum. If Dr. Mendel would have listened to me, this would have been dealt in 2010, and I would be able to continue training. But now I need surgery, and recovery looked like it'll take between 6-12 months. I can't train during that time. All this because Dr. Mendel refused to give quality healthcare (but still charge a premium healthcare price). My only regret is that this review will give Dr. Mendel 1 star, when it's currently at 0.

I had a rash on my neck that had been growing like crazy!! It took to much time to go in the doctors office. When i saw him i showed him my rash, he just saw it and told me i had Psoriasis and gave me a little book wiht info about that medical condition. Then he left!!!! that was all!! her asistant told me what medicine i needed to take and thats all!! i couldn ask him why i got it? what cares should i take? OMG!! horrible ill never go again!! I dont recomend it!

Dr. Calandro is one of the most dishonest, nprofessional, uncaring and insensitive cardiologists in Colorado. He practices under Colorado Heart Clinic with Dr. Tracy Paceschke. They exhort money at the very last moment and if you do not pay up they cancel your appointment. They over charge and over invoice their patients. If you want to be treated inhumanely and with total disrespect and disdain then become the patients of Calandro. They are the worst Cardiologists in Colorado. Very insensitive and uncaring and down right dishonest and disceptive.

Scheduled an appt as a new patient with the office. Showed up at sheduled time, Someone never entered my appt into the system. Dr said she couldn't see me, I would have to reschedule. Had to reschedule for 7:15 Friday morning because I was going to be out of blood pressure medication. Driving there Friday morning from East side of Columbus, ran into traffic. Called office to tell them I would be 15 minutes late, was told once again I would have to reschedule and there was nothing they could do to help me. I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS DR.
