Dr Thiru is very good - she listens well and addresses all issue..., Jul 10, 2010 I've been seeing Dr Thiru for the last 3 years. She is very knowledgeable and listens carefully and addresses all the issues. I used to be on cholestrol medication; she suggested that exercise would be better than medicine to control it for me. I have been exercising regularly, especially running about 20 miles and more every week (training for a marathon). My cholestrol, tryglerides (checked last month) are now at excellent levels. She tries to resolve issues without jumping straightaway to medication - thank you Dr Thiru.

Dr. Thiru is friendly, knowledgeable, and concerned about her patients...., Mar 22, 2010 I went to see Dr. Thiru regarding my high cholesterol. I have been on medication and she discussed my most recent lab work with me. My cholesterol was still a little high and we talked about ways to control it better which included a higher dose of medication, weight loss, exercise, and diet. I like that she is not eager to prescribe drugs as a cure all but discusses other ways such as exercise and diet to control the problem.

AMAZING, considerate, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, 10 out of 10!!..., Mar 22, 2013 I went to Dr. F for my 2nd baby. He was so caring and considerate. He did not make me feel bad asking questions and did not act like he expected me to know everything. He helped me get out of a bad situation to focus on my growing baby. Dr. Fellenbaum noticed that my son was getting big by ultrasound and started monitoring me more closely. I started dilating early, but never went in to labor on my own as I did with my first. When I was dilated to 4 for a week we opted to induce. The hospital was understaffed when I arrived for my induction, and he made sure that the hospital knew it was unacceptable to leave his patients laboring while unsupervised. He did a great job on my son's circumcision and got us home as soon as possible (26 hours after delivery to be exact!), which I was very thankful for! He is a wonderful and extremely knowledgeable doctor!!! |

Dr. Alexander Feldman is an A++ Physician with great bedside manner!..., Feb 27, 2013 Dr. Alexander Feldman is a very thorough physician. He has great bedside manner, is very soft spoken and spent a lot of time with me during each visit (three so far!) in the past two months. What stood out was the amount of quality time and care spent during each appointment. He wasn’t like most doctors trying to cram as many patients into a 30 minute slot. He was more focused on quality of care, making sure to complete a detailed examination and communicating options clearly. He is very knowledgeable, detailed and communicative. He explained what he thought was wrong and what my options were to diagnose my symptoms. He did not pressure me to have unnecessary tests. Once diagnosed, he provided visual aids, even drew some diagrams to chart the course of progression. He also provided treatment options and reading material for those options. He is personable and calls you directly to communicate any lab/test results. His calm demeanor is also very reassuring. I would highly recommend Dr. Feldman as an A++ physician! Thank you! Although the same cannot be said for this staff – they are a little rough around the edges. If you can get past that, you will not be disappointed by the doctor himself! |

Dr Laurence Dahners (UNC Orthopedics) is a dangerous doctor..., Jan 26, 2013 I had osteomyelitis and Dr. Dahners lied to me and told me I did not. It was either he lied or he is incompetent. Dahners mocked me and said I was malnourished. He was just blame mean and egotistical. |

thumbs up for park avenue lasek, dr. chynn and his entire team..., Dec 27, 2012 About two years ago I considered laser eye correction but wasn’t able to get it done back then. Through my research I kept coming back to Dr. Chynn’s Park Avenue LASEK. So although I wasn’t able to get it then I stored it in my bookmarks. Naturally, when I started thinking about laser vision correction I eagerly went and looked up Dr. Chynn again. The site made it clear that the caliber of care would and attention to detail was in every aspect of the staff. I called and made my FREE consultation and was not disappointed. In fact I was never more excited at this cutting edge technique of NO CUT, NO FLAP making it SAFER than the older technique that is still widely used elsewhere. Even more excited is how affordable it is at Park Avenue Lasek. The staff is also great. It helps that most have had the procedure done themselves so when they talk it’s with firsthand experience. Dr. Almeida answered every question I had and proved very patient and knowledgeable. And Dr. Chynn oversees ever aspect and is right there to personally meet with and answer any additional questions that each client has. If you’re interested in vision correction than Park Avenue Lasek is THE place. And if you’re not interested in laser vision correction I challenge you to just take a few minutes to look at their site. Do your own research, I know you won’t regret it. Dr. Asher is the best ENT you'll find. She combines high intelligence with natural talent and a focu..., Dec 6, 2012 Dr. Asher has saved my life twice. My first visit to her office, she fixed a week of botched care from my former GP that had me in a very bad situation. A year later, she rushed to the hospital to stop my life-threatening bleeding. In every visit I've had with her, she's shown nothing but extreme competence, which I've found to be incredibly rare. Most doctors seem to just guess at the problem and toss out random pills. It's quite obvious Dr. Asher actually knows what she's doing and she's laser focused on getting things right the first time. She's actually fixed all my ENT problems so that now I only see her when I'm bringing someone else to her. She's also the first and only doctor I've ever recommended. Bottom line: if you've gone 'round and 'round with other doctors trying to get your ENT problems fixed and you're ready to be done with it, make an appointment with Dr. Asher. You'll get more actual care in one visit with her than you've gotten everywhere else up 'til then. |
