This guy thinks it's okay to treat patients as less than human. There are plenty of other doctors who will tell you what's wrong /and/ be courteous, because, you know, you're a patient not an intern or employee.

I saw this individual at Starke Shands ER per advice from my primary doctor. If you care about your health or your loved ones' health, DO NOT see this doctor. He is extrememly rude, does not listen to you, does not check what medications you are presently taking, and will not look at your injuries. Instead he prescribes painkillers without really knowing what is going on. I consulted a pharmacist with the medicaitons he prescribed because I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. His ego is truly ruining his quality of care, which to me, is practically non-existant. Beware of this quack!

Upon arriving as a new patient I knew that there was going to be lots of paperwork as a new patient. I waited for over an hour after my appointment time just to be told that he was running behind. After my meeting with the Dr, I was very impressed with his professionalism, but not sure that he is the Dr. that I am looking for to treat my problems. I feel that he rushed the appointment after waiting a long time for him.

Dr. Brening is really nice, gentle, and I could tell he really cared about me as an individual. So hard to find Dr.'s that really care about their patients & will go the extra mile for them these days. This is my first time having a male Dr. and he made me feel totally comfortable during my exams. He calls me if he ever has questions regarding my medical history & took the time to get to know me and my problem, and is working on the best solution for ME. Great Doctor for SDSU students!

Dr. Ripps has been treating my husband and I for almost a year now and we wouldnt dream of seeing anyone else. The staff at newLIFE is so caring and supportive from start to finish. We have found him to be extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. We feel like with the help of Dr. Ripps and his staff we will achieve our dream of having a family. He is board certified and his rates are very fair in comparison to the national average. We could not be happier with the care we have received.
