I have had several cosmetic treatments in his Sterling Heights office. Each time I visit I feel very welcome and taken care of. Dr Seiger is a compassionate physician & his work is impeccable. Wouldn't send my worst enemy to him or his staff. Avoid at all cost!..., Feb 17, 2012 I've been to lots of doctors in my time, but "Doctor Carter" (if he so can be called) is the worst. Not even a close second. He spent roughly 15 minutes in the room with me, in which, 10 of those minutes were him typing my information into a computer. Never even listened to my symptoms, just typed. Also, I had to argue endlessly with his nurse to write me a higher amount of my prescription, even after my insurance had agreed to a higher amount. She was just too lazy to write it, or confirm with the insurance company. Stay away if you care about your health! His staff is equally useless. I requested my lab results 4 TIMES before they sent them out 1 MONTH later. It's sad, but he has jaded me to the medical profession. If you don't care about people, why become a doctor? |

Provided extremely poor treatment for my father's cancer..., Jan 25, 2012 Dr. D. treated my dad's throat cancer (a term he never used with any of us). Dad responded very well to chemo and would have to remain on chemo the rest of his life. (His tumor in his neck had burst and he had a nasty wound that he had to deal with, but even it was doing well as he was switched to a milder chemo routine to keep the cancer from growing. And he was doing really well with that treatment.) Dad developed a knee infection and Dr. D stopped all treatment until knee doc released him. Dr. D continued to ignore my phone calls that dad's neck wound was really looking bad, saying he could do nothing for him at this time. Finally, knee doc suggested knee treatment be put on hold so cancer could be treated. So Dad went to see Dr. D and he still said there wasn't anything he could do right now, and he refused to look at his neck when asked to (of course, dad kept it bandaged). We brought dad to Louisville for treatment, but it was too late by then. The oncology doctors in Louisville were just mortified at his neck and the treatment he had received. They found it unimaginable that Dr. D. never looked at his neck (the actual cancer) and ignored his cancer treatment during the course of treatment of the knee infection (9 weeks approximately). Of course, we are heartbroken. I only tell my story in the hopes of helping someone else. In the end, dad regretted mine and my sister's pleas to get a second opinion in Louisville from the beginning. That one step could have changed everything. I hope this review helps someone make a better choice in choosing their oncologist. |

Narcissistic doctor won't release patients to see other doctors..., Jan 7, 2012 Reviews of the practice showed that another doctor there had a higher rating, so I wanted to see this other doctor. I was flat out told NO, I am not allowed to see any other doctor at the practice than Karen Bader because that was the first doctor I ever saw in the practice. |

New Patients Beware - Office staff and Dr NOT helpful..., Dec 2, 2011 Scheduled an appt as a new patient with the office. Showed up at sheduled time, Someone never entered my appt into the system. Dr said she couldn't see me, I would have to reschedule. Had to reschedule for 7:15 Friday morning because I was going to be out of blood pressure medication. Driving there Friday morning from East side of Columbus, ran into traffic. Called office to tell them I would be 15 minutes late, was told once again I would have to reschedule and there was nothing they could do to help me. I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS DR. |
