Very rude and arrogant ..................................., May 25, 2012 I grew up in the communistic country when health care was free for everyone at that time and I was never treated so poorly by doctors over there like I was by Dr.Teng who get paid thousands of dollars in one day. He was VERY RUDE to me, he had no sense of respect and compassion. I arrived to do my procedure with him for epidural shots for my back and I had to let him know that I started to develop changes in my back which is causing me pain on other site lower back too. He started to tell me that he is not going to cure my back pain and deal with that but only with the pinch nerve I had previously. And then he told me he doesn’t think this treatment will do anything for me. Honestly it’s not even what he said but HOW he said. He has a bad manners. I have tried to be patient with him in the past but this time I just could not hold myself from tears. . He had a very short temper with me. He made me feel like I was less then human being. If nurses would not be there for me who were my angels at that time and a friend who waited to give me a ride I would get even far emotional. First Dr.Teng hurt my feeling, never apologies and then he refused to treat me. In one day I heard from several people that Dr.Teng had problems with other people in the past with his skills to be arrogant and rude. Beside that every time I visit him for an appointment he always late, I had to wait for him not less then 1 hours so he can see me 15 or 20 min. There is two type of doctors. Doctors who became doctor because they want to help people and other doctors who just want to make big $ and they don’t care about people. Sound to me like Dr.Teng is one of those doctors who only interested in money and hate his job which is people. Why would I even want to offer my body to someone who carry such poor and negative energy around himself ? |

Told me my dad's RX would be VERY strong - it was an 'OTC'..., Feb 23, 2012 Unbelievable that he (& NE Baptist Hospital) kept assuming my dad's pain was 'in his head' - he (again) told me his diagnosis was 'constipation' - said 'this RX is very strong' - I went to the drug store & pharmacist looked a little embarrassed, and said 'you don't need a prescription for this - it's just Dulcalax' Thanks, Doc!!! We finally went to a different hospital & doctor & w/in 48 hours they discovered and treated a compression fracture in his spine - Immediate relief. (This is after 4-5 visits in/out of NE Baptist in 2 months for my 84 year old father.) We've not gone back, & I warn people not to go to this un-caring doctor. |

Offensive Staff, Rude, Unprofessional...Please do not go to this doctor!..., Jan 16, 2012 I have never been treated with such disrespect ever. There is a youong girl that works there I am not sure if she is an intern or what, but she is extremely rude and hangs up on people if she doesn't like what your saying. I thought doctors staff were suppose to be courteous, I guess I was wrong. Don't be fooled by their facade, the staff is obsurdely fake and don't care for the well being of anyone. |

My family Refuses To See Her Again. Very Disagreeable!..., Jan 5, 2012 My family will not be seeing Dr. Shah again. If we had not researched her credentials after the fact, we would have sworn she was not even a doctor. She argued with us over refills for medicines that we take for diabetes and thyroid disease though we have taken these medicines to treat these illnesses for several years. She was very disagreeable about everything. It was so hard to deal with her that one of us just agreed with her about everything to keep from having arguments again so as to be able to leave her office promptly because the entire visit had been such an ordeal. We do not recommend her. |
